Dr George Tan graduated from The University of Western Australia in 1986 and has been dedicated to providing Excellence in Dental Care ever since. His early career included work in the public sector at Perth Dental Hospital and helping to establish the Dental Unit at Bunbury Regional Hospital. In time, his passion for personalised, community focused dentistry led him to open Meadows Dental Care in Rockingham.
Dr Tan is a member of the Australian Dental Association and is fully registered with the Dental Board of Australia. He is committed to ongoing professional development, consistently upgrading his knowledge and skills through continuing education. This dedication ensures he stays at the forefront of the latest techniques and technologies in implant, preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
With a special interest in Implant Dentistry, Dr Tan was fortunate to study under Professor P.J. Henry, one of the pioneers of the Branemark Implant clinical trials in Australia. This early mentorship sparked a lifelong passion for dental implants and advanced restorative care.
Beyond dentistry, George is an avid flyer and holds a Private Pilot’s Licence. He trained through the University Flying Club, where he served as Treasurer and Vice President, and has also completed AFF skydiving training with WA Skydiving.
